Looks like just one return from yesterday, a place for John987's 16/1 chance Andaleep - well done.

If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.

I am going early for the 4.00 (GMT) at Flemington Park close to Melbourne City Centre.

Serpentine. e.w. is my nap who is around 66/1.

I have done a backup on Alenquer who I have also heard of and  is around 66/1 but I am definitely going Serpentine.

I am impressed that since going down under from Ballydoyle he lost his only Race by 99 lengths.

I am really impressed he grittily dug in to make sure it wasn't a 100 lengths.

I never underestimate Satan and Serpentine (Snake) is 66/1 and was beaten by 99 lengths on his last Run.

My early e.w. nap

@playlord Joe, yes it is. I had the pleasure of seeing him in Melbourne back in 2016. I think his skeleton is at the National Museum in Canberra.

@robicheaux Was that the Melbourne Cup? If so, yes, 4th place counts.

Nickleby is a non-runner so I’ll switch to Rockonmecca (ew) in the 19.30 at Newcastle.

Billy the Kid had a great day yesterday and the winter jockeys championship could be a cracker between him, Rossa, Muscott and anyone else who can join in.

Nap War Hartut d'Oudairies

what's not to like about a JP runner from the King of Warwick that has been backed?

Some of the better ex-Irish pointers are beginning to emerge in England now. One notable runner at Warwick (12.45) is Nicky Henderson's Jingko Bleu who won a 4yo maiden point in the spring. He subsequently sold at auction for 225k. That is a small fortune, you might well think. But wait - the horse he beat, Jersey Des Brosses, sold for 375k to (surprise surprise) Gigginstown and is now with Gordon Elliott. Let's see which turns out to be the better buy.

Jingko perhaps lacks a bit of scope and was put in his place there by Ben Pauling's the well-backed Personal Ambition. The latter came third in his point which was won by a horse called Cantico who was bought privately immediately after by Willie Mullins and is one to look forward to.

I still can't login on my laptop. I wonder if it's everyone else seems to be an active member, whereas I seem to be an eminent member. I've never been accused of being eminent in anything before.

@jonathan-dawe I too glory in the title Eminent Member and still find logging in a bit of a palaver. It is easier gaining access to gov.uk.

@jonathan-dawe When I posted yesterday, in reply to Joe's Intro post, I was a nobody.  Today, I posted I at the bottom of the page and I'm now an Eminent Member!!

I still have a slight issue with logging in but get there at the second attempt..........

@baciodilupo Can you guys tell me what you are seeing when this log in difficulty arises?  What step is it that stops you and do you get a message when it does?

@playlord using either Chrome or Edge I'm told to prove I'm not a robot. I do that, but can't enter anything in the arithmetic box nor use the up/down arrows to put in a number.

@playlord Joe, I'll try not to be longwinded 😬 ..... For the new site, I used my new personal email, same username and new password.

When I go to Login, I see my username and new password.  This is fine.

I tick the "I'm not a robot" box.  Sometimes I have to tick boxes for motorbikes/traffic lights.......This is fine.

I can NEVER enter an answer on the maths problem on this page.

I press Sign Me In and it takes me to a white blank page with a new maths problem, which I can always "solve".

When I move on to the next stage, sometimes I'm automatically logged in.........Sometimes it takes me to my old email login box (the one for the old website).

To get around this, I just go back a step to I'm not a robot  and I get logged in....

I know I've gone on a tad and it might not make logical sense but this is what happens.

Thanks again, Joe.
