Well done Gaz, Leo, Baciodilupo, and Robicheaux on yesterday. If I've left anyone out, I apologise; please leave a message on this thread and I'll update.

Looks like at least three members are still having very frustrating problems logging. I've asked Baciodilupo  to try something new and when I hear back we can hopefully resolve it. Apologies.

Joe

@playlord

Buondì Joe,  this morning I again had to follow the method as outlined yesterday before logging in.

I cannot see any message from you, either yesterday or today?

Buondi Bacio. I replied to your post yesterday (I think!! - will check) to ask if you have another email address that you could try a new sign up with, calling yourself Bacio2?  Don't delete your current one, I just wanted to see what happened if you do this?

Thanks

Joe

Leave that one with me, Joe.  Miracles I can do right now, the impossible takes a little longer. (I'm not great with technology, might take a few days.  Is this OK?

Joe, I think I might have solved the problem......the old password for the other .com site, it was still on the browser. Hope that makes sense.  I'll keep you posted..........

I got beaten to the post by Steepechasing yesterday as I was too busy to respond to the question posed by Jonathan.

I think I know what Phar Lap looks like as he was supposed to be scrawny even before meeting his Taxidermist.

I thought he was in a Melbourne Museum not Canberra.

Whilst I Hate people taking photos in Museums or Art Galleries (just buy the Post Card when you exit the gift shop) I think that Pic represents his cultural status beside the Picassos.

The Skeleton of Arkle is at the Irish National Stud. Like Cromwell he was exhumed.

It should be placed in the Jack Yeats section in I think Gallery 20 or 16? In the National Art Gallery of Ireland where it belongs besides his Horse Racing Paintings.

Better still the Niland Arts Gallery in Sligo who have most of Yeats Horse Racing Paintings.

My nap today is Master Garvey who is around 18/1 in the 15.45 at Dundalk. e.w.

@elgransenor I saw this a couple of weeks ago in Padua. I know size isn't everything but . . . it is absolutely massive and the biggest equestrian statue ever inside a building. He doesn't look as if he had the speed of Phar Lap, more of a three-mile chaser. Except he's clearly not a gelding . . .

@elgransenor The picture of Phar Lap was taken at Melbourne Museum. His skeleton is in Wellington at the National Museum of New Zealand and his heart at the Australian Institute of Anatomy in Canberra.

So as not to upset your sensibilities I will no longer take pictures of the exhibits at museums. Years ago I did buy a lot of postcards at the Tokyo National Museum and had them framed. While the pictures look rather pleasant,  I'm not convinced the cost of framing them was a good investment.

@jonathan-dawe I just spent an hour writing a response and deleted it by mistake...the gist was to ignore elgransenor's sensibilities (within reason). All depends on the artefact and how much it will affect the enjoyment of others. If they are not there, of course, problem solved.

Then there are other solutions...

Pebbles has beaten me to it but I've got a soft spot for this horse after it won for me at the Ludlow Christmas meeting last year.
